The B.S. in Biology-Pre-Veterinary Medicine degree requires 128 credit hours:

  • 43-45 credit hours of general education courses (excluding four credit hours counted in the major core),
  • 59 credit hours of prescribed courses in biology, chemistry, and physics,
  • a minimum of 9 credit hours of directed electives in biology,
  • at least 6 credit hours of math, and
  • elective courses as needed
