The B.S. in Biology degree requires 128 credit hours:

  • 48-49 credit hours of general education courses,
  • 28 credit hours of prescribed courses in biology, chemistry, and physics,
  • a minimum of 17 credit hours of directed electives in biology,
  • 12 credit hours of directed electives in science (biology, chemistry, environmental science, geology)
  • elective courses as needed
